DuaNow Privacy Policy

DuaNow is an offline dua reference app. This policy explains how the DuaNow app ("DuaNow", "we", or "the app") handles information.
Information you enter
You may describe a situation so DuaNow can suggest relevant duas. This text is processed only on your device, is not sent to us or any server, and is not saved by the app. It is removed from memory when you leave the relevant app flow or the app process ends.
Information stored on your device
DuaNow stores the following information locally so its features work:
- duas you save;
- identifiers and timestamps for recently viewed duas;
- app preferences, such as language, theme, text size, and transliteration display.
DuaNow does not require an account. We do not operate a server that receives this information.
Depending on your Android device and backup settings, Android may include saved duas, recent history, and preferences in your encrypted device backup or device-to-device transfer. This service is controlled by Android and your Google account, not by DuaNow. The bundled dua catalogue is excluded from backup.
Payments
DuaNow offers optional, one-time appreciation payments. Payments do not unlock features; paying and non-paying users receive the same app functionality.
Payments are processed by Google Play under Google's terms and privacy policy. DuaNow does not receive or store your name, email address, payment-card number, bank details, or billing address. The app temporarily receives a product identifier, purchase status, and purchase token from Google Play so it can confirm and consume the appreciation purchase. DuaNow does not send this information to a developer-operated server or retain it after processing.
The Google Play Billing library may send billing-related diagnostics and technical information to Google to provide and secure the payment service.
Information we do not collect
DuaNow does not use developer-operated analytics, advertising SDKs, advertising identifiers, location tracking, contacts, camera, microphone, or account sign-in. We do not sell user information.

DuaNow includes links to source and licence pages. Opening one of these links launches your browser. The destination website's privacy policy applies to information handled by that website.
Data retention and deletion
The situation text you enter is not retained. Saved duas, recent history, and preferences remain on your device until you remove them, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. You can clear recent history from Settings > Privacy. Android may retain an encrypted backup according to your device and Google account backup settings; you can manage or delete those backups through the relevant Android or Google account settings.
Because DuaNow does not provide accounts or operate a user-data server, there is no server-side account or personal-data record for us to delete.
Children's privacy
DuaNow is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
DuaNow minimizes data handling by processing searches on-device and not operating a user-data backend. Google Play communications used for optional payments are handled by Google Play's secured services.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if DuaNow's features or data practices change. The latest version will show its updated date on this page.
